Job Description:

Database Administrator will work in the fast-growing On Demand business on multiple QAD database administration and design tasks in a complex operational environment. The candidate will work with minimal supervision/guidance and must be able to handle periods of high stress. This position is in a 24/7 on-call environment that involves maintaining SLA systems uptime, ongoing monitoring and maintenance of all QAD databases. Maximize performance through ongoing and ad hoc analysis of the database. This position will require customer interaction and responding to tickets entered into our On Demand customer support ticketing and monitoring systems. This position will also be required to recommend best practices around database administration of the QAD application systems. All of these responsibilities require constant attention and will often fall outside of the normal 9 to 5 workday.
