NPL, New Delhi (a constituent laboratory of CSIR) desires to have qualified incumbents for purely temporary and contractual positions of "Project Assistants" under the various ongoing externally funded & time targeted sponsored projects and "Research Interns" under CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Intern Award Scheme as given below :-

Project Assistant

Level : III

Total Posts: One

Salary: Rs.14000/-

Qualification: Class M.Sc.(Physics) with LS NET plus 2 years research experience in preparation and studies of thin films

Age Limit: 32 Years

Project Assistant

Level : II

Total Posts: One

Salary: Rs.12000/- to 14,000 /-

Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology) with LS NET plus experience in biomolecular science

Age Limit: 28 Years

Project Assistant

Level : III

Total Posts: One

Salary: Rs.18000/-

Qualification: 1st Class M.Tech (Electronics/Bioelectronics)

Age Limit: 32Years

Project Assistant

Level : III

Total Posts: One

Salary: Rs.12000/-

Qualification:

• 1st Class M.Tech (Photovoltaics/ Nanoscience & technology)
• 1st Class M.Sc (Physics/Material Science) with 2 years experience in fabrication of devices

Age Limit: 32Years

Project Assistant

Level : IV

Total Posts: One

Salary: Rs.22000/-

Qualification: Ph.D (Physics/Electronics/Materials/nano-materials/composites)

Age Limit: 35Years

Selection Process:

In case large number of candidates turn up, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview by a duly constituted Screening Committee. Only the short-listed candidates shall be interviewed by Selection Committee. The panel so prepared will be utilized for engagement as Project Assistants as and when requirement arise.

How To Apply:

Eligible candidates may appear together with duly filled-in downloaded Application Form (back-to-back), for “Floating (Walk-in) Interview” on09.08.2011 between 08.30 AM to 10.00 AM (candidate will not be entertained after 10.00 AM under any circumstance) in the Auditorium of the laboratory, along-with latest passport size photograph, original and attested copies of all certificates/testimonials. Candidates belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/PH, should bring copies of certificates in the proper format issued by the appropriate authority as per the latest instructions issued from time to time on the subject.
