The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA-TIFR has set up two radio telescopes, viz., the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world's largest radio telescope at metre wavelengths. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

Engineer - C (Electrical)

Total Posts: 01

Salary: Rs.15600-39100+GP.Rs.5400/-

Qualification: B.Tech (Electrical Power Systems) with at least 60% aggregate from recognized University.

Age Limit: Below 31 Years.

Engineer- C (Electronics)

Total Posts: 04

Salary: Rs.15600-39100+GP.Rs.5400/-

Qualification: B.E. (Electronics) with at least 60% aggregate from recognized University.

Age Limit: Below for OBC-31, ForSC - 33 Years, For UR-28

Engineer - C (Software)

Total Posts: 01

Salary: Rs.15600-39100+GP.Rs.5400/-

Qualification: B.Tech (Electronics) with at least 60% aggregate from recognized University.

Age Limit: Below for OBC-31, ForSC - 33 Years, For UR-28

Graduate Trainee

Total Posts: 08

Salary: Rs.12000/-in the First Years and Rs.13500/-in the 2nd Years.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Electronics) with at least60% Nature of Duties Digital / analog/RF/Servo electronics,

Age Limit: Below 28 Years.
